Amphan damages Sundarbans infrastructure, tree worth Tk 16mn

Renowned educationist Niloufer Manzur, the founder and principal of Sunbeams School, died of coronavirus on Tuesday. She was 74. Japan includes Bangladesh in widened entry ban

Japan has tightened border control and widened ban on entry of people from countries, including Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Dhaka reports 1,166 new corona cases, 21 deaths on Tuesday

The health authorities reported detection of 1,166 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours after testing 5,407 samples. The number of tests are about half of those conducted on the previous day.
