Microbus gas cylinder blast kills 5 in Faridpur

At least five people were burned dead after the gas cylinder of a microbus exploded on Dhaka-Khulna highway at Maligram in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur district on Saturday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Tayumul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police, said a fire broke out in the microbus as its gas cylinder went off, leaving five people dead on the spot.

On information, police and fire service men rushed to the spot, reports UNB.
