Entry fee for Secretariat proposed

Public Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has proposed to fix a fee for entering the Secretariat.



Public Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has proposed to fix a fee for entering the Secretariat, the administrative headquarters of the government. A letter, containing the matter, has been sent to the finance ministry from the ministry.
As per the letter, people, except the officials and staff of the Secretariat, will have to pay the fee before entry.
District-upazila chairmen will also give the fee.
The finance ministry is reviewing the proposal.
Everyone will be given a card for entering the Secretariat which will be valid for one year. Basically, the fee will be fixed for one yea.
The fee for non-government persons have to set Tk 5,000 a year, while district-upazila parishad chairmen and municipality mayors Tk 2,500, as per the proposal.
