Dhaka – Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced a 15-member Bangladesh squad for the ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup’ 2019 beginning in Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Tuesday (October 22).
Four teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh –will compete in the week-long tournament.
Shaila Sharmin will lead the Bangladesh team in Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh will play India in the opening match on Tuesday at Thurstan ground while Pakistan will face Sri Lanka RPICS in Colombo in the day’s other match.
In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will meet Pakistan on Wednesday (Oct 23) while take on hosts Sri Lanka on Friday (Oct 25) . The final match will be held on October 27.
