Daffodil Univarsity to remain closed for 10 days after clash

The authorities of educational institution have closed all the residential halls and asked the students to leave dormitories as soon as possible.



Daffodil International University will remain closed for the next ten days, according to a notice of the university on Monday.

The authorities of educational institution have closed all the residential halls and asked the students to leave dormitories as soon as possible.

Tanvir Tahmid, a student of CSE department of the varsity said local residents attacked our students last night. Our residential hall was attacked and vandalized. Considering the safety of students, the authority closed the halls.

Anwar Habib Kazal, public relations officer of the university said the university will reopen on November 17.

Ashulia police station sub-inspector (SI) Farhad Bin Karim said the overall situation in the campus is under control now.
