National Film Award-winning actress Sadika Parvin Popy has just finished playing the title role in the web series ‘Indubala’. As the year draws to a close, many celebrities in the country are having a busy time completing their projects at hand.
But due to the general election in the country and other reasons, the actress’s other projects have been shifted to the next year.The second phase of a shooting of Aminul Islam’s film, ‘Save Life’, starring Popy and other noted artistes have now been scheduled to begin from January next year.
Popy’s almost finished shooting ‘Sahoshi Joddha’, directed by Sadek Siddiqui, starring opposite Amin Khan was scheduled to end this Year. But the shooting has been rescheduled to commence next year.
“Everyone is busy with the election at present. So, it is logical not to hold the shooting at this time. I am hoping that, after the election, the shooting of the film would begins again, possibly in January in keeping with Popy’s schedule,” said Sadek Siddiqui.
Popy said, “I want to complete the work of ‘Sahoshi Joddha’ without any haste. Later, I will begin the shooting of ‘Save life’. So, I can say I will complete the work in one film and start work in a new film at the start of the new year. I hope the beginning of the year is going to be good for me.” Popy is going to start the shooting of Bulbul Bishwas’s film, ‘Cut Piece’, next year as well.
Apart from these three films, the actress has already started shooting for the film ‘Kathgoray Sarat Chandra’, playing the role of Parvati. Noted actor Ferdous will play the character of ‘Devdas’ while actor Gazi Rakayet will portray the role of Sarat Chandra, opposite the actress.
