1,256 more included in freedom fighters’ list

The government on Tuesday formally included 1,256 more people in the list of freedom fighters after scrutinising around 150,000 applications. The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a gazette notification, saying the decision was taken at the 66th meeting of the National Freedom Fighters Council as per The National Freedom Fighter Council Act-2002.
