U-19 Cricket: Bangladesh-India clash delayed for rain

Dhaka – The Tri-nation Under-19 Cricket match between Bangladesh Under-19 team and India U-19 team was delayed at Billericay in Essex, England on Tuesday, till last report received .   Sent into bat first in a reduced 46 overs a-side match, India U-19 team scored 69 for 1 in 13.2 overs before the match was stopped due to rain.    Opener Qamran Iqbal and one down batsman Pragnesh Kanpillewar remained not out on 40 and 13 runs respectively after the departure of another opener YBK Jaisal (11).    Shoriful Islam took the lone Indian wicket of Jaisal conceding 27 runs in his five over spell with a maiden.    Bangladesh U-19 team remained at the 2nd slot in the point table of the three-nation tournament securing 5 points from four matches.    On the other hand, India U-19 team, who also secured 5 points from four matches, topped the list by virtue of better net run rate.
