ACC to file two cases against RAJUK against 57 mission files

Dhaka – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has given approval to
file two cases against two employees of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakhhya
(Rajuk) for hiding of 57 files on design endorsement.
The approval was given at a regular meeting of the commission on
Sunday held at the ACC headquarters at Segun Bagicha with its chairman
M Bodiuzzaman in the chair, ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar
Bhattacharya told reporters.
The two accused Rajuk officials are—Md Shafiullah, senior assistant of
entry section and Md Belal Hossain, former junior assistant of the
same section.
ACC sources said the preliminary enquiry carried out by the commission
proved the allegation that the two Rajuk employees were involved in
hiding/destroying a total of 57 files on design approval.
The commission gave the approval to file the case under section
204/217 under CrPC and section 5 (2) under section of ACC law of 1947,
according to sources.
ACC deputy assistant director Khandaker Akhteruzzaman carried out the
enquiry into the allegation while deputy director SM Shahidur Rahman
