Meanwhile, Khaleda’s layers told reporters at jail gate that the chairperson urged the countrymen to have patience and keep trust in her.
The lawyers, who accompanied the former prime minister to the jail gate, conveyed the BNP chief’s message to her followers soon after the chairperson landed in prison.
While entering the jail, Khaleda called upon the countrymen to have patience and trust on her, said Advocate Sanaullah Miah.
He quoted the chairperson as saying, “I will not bow down no matter whatever adverse situation is created and repression is launched on me.”
