BSF sends back 17 Bangladeshis through Satkhira border

Dhaka- India’s Border Security Force (BSF) handed over 17 Bangladeshi including women and children through two separate flag meetings with Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) in Kalaroa border point area in Kalaroa upazila on Tuesday morning.Mizanur Rahman, Nayek Subedar of Kakdanga BGB camp, said, BSF sent back the Bangladeshi citizens through Bhadiali border point and Kenragachhi border point after two separate flag meeting withs BGB personnel.Later, the 17 Bangladeshis were handed over to Kalaroa Police Station and a case was filed in this connection.BSF members arrested the Bangladeshis after they entered India without any legal documents few days back.Following this, BSF sent a letter to Kakdanga BGB camp asking the BGB personnel to take back the illegal Bangladeshis.UNB news agency
