Case for war crimes against 3 brothers


Mymensingh-A case was filed against three brothers with a Mymensingh court today (Monday) for their alleged involvement in crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation in 1971.Abdul Latif, hailing from village Salimpur in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh field the case with cognizance Court No-3.
The accused are-Makkes Ali, 72, his two brothers-Nurul Islam, 68, and Noor Mohammad, 65.
In the case, the plaintiff Abdul Latif, 69, said, the accused allegedly torched the and looted their houses in September in 1971.
The accuses also abducted his elder brother Abdul Mannan and elder sister Jomila Khatun, 71.
They later allegedly killed Abdul Mannan and raped Jomila, it was also said in the case.
The court of Hafiz Al Asad accepting the case but no order was passed yet, said Nowjesh Ali Miah, the court inspector here.-Our Correspondent
