A challenging introduction to test match cricket is starting to hit home for one of the Black Caps’ newest test players. All rounder Corey Anderson is approaching two months of being on the subcontinent, joining the Black Caps tour of Bangladesh straight from the New Zealand A side in India.
Anderson says he’s learnt plenty about the rigours of long form cricket in the tough conditions.
“The hardest play to play conditions-wise and getting your body through five days of it. So I’m glad I got through it the way I did.
“I sort of went into the game almost more worried about my bowling than my batting. It’s funny how it worked, it ended up working in the reverse.”
The Black Caps have no new injuries ahead of the start of the second test in Dhaka on Monday. – NewstalkZB via Google
