‘Criminal’ vandalises UP chairman’s house in Faridpur


An alleged criminal barged into the house of Kanaipur Union Parishad chairman Belayet Fakir in Sadar upazila and vandalised various things.Locals caught the attacker, Masud, of the area and handed him over to police.
Belayet Fakir, also general secretary of union Awami League, said Masud stormed into his house at Kanaipur Bazar around 10:30am and vandalised a television, chairs and a table at his office on the ground floor.
The UP chairman said his house might have come under the attack as he recently protested several terror attacks in his area.
