Tanvir Hassan Zoha, who talked to the media as a cyber security specialist after the recent heist from Bangladesh Bank reserve account, has remained missing since Wednesday night.
A family member of Tanvir told the Prothom Alo on Friday that they have been waiting for Tanvir’s return. They do not know the whereabouts of Tanvir since Wednesday night.
Police even denied to accept a general diary (GD) in this regard, said the family member.
Tanvir’s wife Kamrunnahar on Thursday said her husband along with one of his friends was returning home by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the fateful evening.
They were intercepted in the capital’s Kachukhet area around 12:30am Thursday (half-past Wednesday midnight) by a group of people in plainclothes.
Both of them were picked up blindfolded in a microbus by the group.
After some time, Tanvir’s friend was dropped from the microbus and drove Tanvir away, Kamrunnahar added quoting Tanvir’s friend.
Kamrunnahar alleged the Kafrul and Kalabagan police stations are not taking a general diary (GD) concerning the abduction of her husband. – News Desk
