Dhaka – Sylhet Division, forced to follow on, were trailing by 62 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the 2nd innings against Dhaka Metro after third day’s paly of the Tier-2 match of the 20th National Cricket League (NCL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.Replying to Dhaka Metro’s 426 for all in 122.4 overs in the first innings, Sylhet resumed the first innins with their overnight score of 132/6 in 53 overs and finished on 215 for all in 82 overs to follow on though overnight Enamul Haque Jr played a knock of 91 runs off 198 balls, including 13 boundaries.

Following on, Sylhet opened the second innings on the third day and were at stumps with the collection of 149*/4 in 61 overs as Jakir [72 off 129; 9×4] and Rajin Saleh [53* off 155b; 6×4] hit half centuries after early loss of 13/3 in 10 overs.

Arafat Sunny got four wickets for 62 runs while Qazi Onik three for 25 runs for Dhaka Metro in Sylhet’s 1st innings.

Former national team aptain Mohammad Ashraful, who hit a half century of 53 off 108 balls for Dhaka Metro, with ball captured two wickets for 36 runs in Sylhet 1st innings.
