The Rajshahi Silk City Express train caught fire in Mirzapur of Tangail on Friday due to intense heat.

The incident took place at Mohera Railway Station in Mirzapur upazila on the Bangabandhu Bridge Rail Link Road.
Mohera Railway Station Master Sohail Khan confirmed the matter.
At least 10 passengers were injured when they got off the train hurriedly out of fear.
The train delayed Rajshahi around one hour and 25 minutes following the incident, reports DT.
According to local people, the Silk City Express train was stopped at that place at 5pm for the crossing of the Dhaka-bound Kurigram Express train.
When some passengers of 'Ta' compartment got down, they found fire in the hydraulic brake area.
Later, the station and train staff brought the fire under control.
There was no major casualty, said the station master.
First aid was given to some of the injured who jumped from the train, he added.
Due to this incident, Sirajganj bound "Sirajganj Express" left Mirzapur railway station with some delay.
