Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team made a perfect practice ahead of their ICC U-19 World Cup campaign outplaying England Under-19 side a huge 97 runs at the at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Monday.With the day’s feat, the Bengal Tigers completed their two official warm-up matches with all-win record following their another comprehensive 63-run victory over Zimbabwe in the first warm up match at the same venue last Saturday.Hosts Bangladesh will start their ICC U-19 World Cup campaign taking on South Africa in the opening match on Wednesday (January 27) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong.In the day’s last warm-up match, Bangladesh Youth team batted first after winning the toss and piled up good total of 246 for 8 in stipulated 50 overs with Shafiul Hayet making 68 runs off 89 balls featuring six fours and a six.Besides, Mohammad Saifuddin (46), Jaker Ali (36), Zakir Hasan (24), Joyraz Sheik (22), Pinak Ghosh (14), Saeed Sarker (13) and Saif Hasan (12) were the notable scorers for Bangladesh reaching the double figures.S Mahmud, BJ Taylor and DW Lawrence took two wickets each conceding 24, 25 and 55 runs respectively.In reply, the English team were bundled out for 149 runs in 48.1 overs with BJ Taylor scoring 52-ball 41 runs including two fours and two sixes.Besides, CJ Taylor (36), SM Curran (29), JD Warner (16) and MS Crane (12) were the other major contributors for England.Mehedy Hasan Miraj and Mehedy Hasan Rana grabbed three wickets each conceding 12 and 14 runs respectively while Mohammad Saifuddin took two for 17 runs.
