Dhaka – The 1st phase of the JFA Under-14 National Women’s Football will begin at six separate venues across the country on Tuesday. A total of 35 district teams, split into six zones, will take part in the four-day 1st phase of the meet, where the games will comprise two 35-minute halves.
Title sponsors JFA are the Japanese Football Association, who have chosen to support girls’ football in Bangladesh as a neat way of promoting competitive sport while continuing to play a role in the development of Bangladesh.
Six teams will play each in the Gazipur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Gopalganj venue while seven district teams in the Nilphamari, and four district teams in the Laxmipur venue.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) women’s wing chair Mahfuza Akter Kiron disclosed the detailed schedule in a press conference at BFF House on Sunday.BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag was also present on the occasion.UNB
