Khaleda denounces French terror attack

Dhaka – BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday strongly denounced the terror attack carried out in the French city of Nice during Bastille Day celebrations that left 84 people dead and many injured, UNB news agency has reported.
In a message, she said, “The killing of people by driving a truck into crowds by a terrorist is not only inhuman, but also cowardice.”The BNP chief feared that the entire world will be at stake if such brutal and heinous attacks cannot be prevented now. “People’s all achievements will be destroyed by terror attacks if the growing international terrorism can’t be eliminated.”
She said the terror attack in France has made the people of Bangladesh deeply shocked and worried. “I express my solidarity with the dejected French people and its government.”
Khaleda prayed for the eternal peace for the souls of those killed in the attack and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
She also wished early recovery of those injured in the attack.
An attacker drove truck into crowds of people celebrating France’s national day in Nice, killing 84 people on Thursday night.
