Khaleda Zia scheduled to be back to Dhaka Wednesday

Dhaka – BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is returning home on Wednesday after staying around three months in London with four warrants of arrests issued by courts in Dhaka and Comilla against her.
The former premier is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by an Emirates Airlines flight at 55:40 pm.
The BNP has taken massive preparation to receive its chairperson Khaleda Zia upon her arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this evening after staying three months in London.
Senior party leaders said they have no preparation but they expect that thousands of party leaders and activists would go to the airport to receive their leader.
Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told The Independent that they would take measures against Khaleda in accordance with the law. “Law will take its own course,” he added.
Officer In Charge of Gulshan Police Station Md Abu Bakar Siddique said they are yet to receive any warrant of arrest against the BNP chairperson.

At least four arrest warrants have so far been served on the BNP chief in different cases including two cases filed in connection with Zia Orphanage Trust corruption and undermining the country’s map and the national flag.
Khaleda Zia’s legal counsel said, “it is the matter of government and police what they would like to do. We will face the legal challenges accordingly.”
“Neither Khaleda Zia or BNP leaders are worried about it,” he added.

“We carrying festoons and banner will peacefully stand at the roadsides to receive our leaders. There will be no procession or rally over there,” said a senior leader.
He said the party leaders have become rejuvenate hearing that party chairperson is coming back after three months though the ruling quarters carried out propaganda that she would not come to the country.
BNP standing committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury expects that along with countrymen, the party leaders and activists are eagerly waiting to see their leader as she is coming on Wednesday.
He expects that huge people including party leaders and activists would go to airport spontaneously to receive her.
