Legendary Indian singer of the Subcontinent Kumar Shanu has lent his voice for first time under music composition and arrangement by Bangladeshi singer and music director of present time Muhin Khan.Kumar Shanu gave his voice at Studio World, a recording studio in Kolkata, on September 14 evening. Lyric of the song titled ‘Tumi Apon Korey Niyo Aamai’ was written by Jamal Hossain.
Before giving voice, Kumar Shanu took time to render the song. On that day, there were recording of four other songs by Kumar Shanu. But he could not give more time to those songs.
In Muhin’s song, Kumar Shanu took more than one hour for recording. While talking in this regard Kumar Shanu told this correspondent over mobile phone yesterday, “It was my first work with Muhin. I was informed that Muhin came to music arena through a reality show. He is also a singer.
He has composed the song well. I believe this song will be also liked the listeners of Bangladesh. On that day, I also gave my voice for four other songs but I can recall the memory of Muhin’s song. I wish his success.”
Muhin Khan said, “I am really grateful to Jamal Hossain as he suggested the name of singer Kumar Shanu for the song after he penned down it. Keeping the name of Kumar Shanu in my head, I did the tune and music arrangement of the song. Even I got the schedule of Kumar Shanu luckily.
He sang the song with immense cordiality. I can’t express in words that how everything made me so fascinated. I am really hopeful about the song.” The short film with the song will be released under the Rangan music banner next Puja, Muhin told.
