Legendary singer Ayub Bachchu dies early Thursday

Dhaka, Oct 18 – Ayub Bachchu, a legendary guitarist-lyricist-singer of Bangladesh, dies at his Moghbazar residence in the city on early Thursday. He was brought in an unconscious state to Dhaka’s Square Hospital around 9:15 am on Thursday.
The pop singer was declared dead around 9:15 am at the city’s Square Hospitals, said the hospital’s Charge Nurse Piter. The singer was 56 years old.
Bachchu suddenly fell ill at his home on Thursday morning, his LRB bandmate Shamim. He was then taken to Square Hospital.
Bachchu, the lead guitarist of a musical band ‘LRB’, was born in Chattogram.
Ayub Bachchu made his debut in the music industry by giving voice in the song ‘Harano Bikiler Golpo’.
In 1986, he released his first music album ‘Rakto Golap’. His success story began when his second album ‘Moyna’ was released.
He comes to the close of listeners by releasing the third album ‘Koshto’ in 1995. The album was super hit; the song ‘Koshto Pete Bhalobasi’ touches the listeners’ heart very much.
Ayub Bachchu became a heartthrob singer overnight around the country for the heart touching song.
In 1991, he formed his own band LRB, where he played a role as lead guitarist and vocal, before establishing his own band, he worked 10 years in the band ‘Souls’.
