Lions Clubs Int’l holds humanitarian activities in Dhaka


Dhaka – The local chapter of Lions Clubs International organised daylong humanitarian activities on Friday to mark the October Service Week 2016, an international service week across the world that features a lot of welfare activities towards the development of society as well as the country, UNB news agency reported.The week has been recognised as a world service week globally and lions, the member of the clubs, join and support welfare activities.
A post-rally gathering on service activities was organised at Bangladesh Lions Foundation at Agargaon in the city where Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan was present as the chief guest.
Former president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed attended the event as special guest.
The members of Lions of Club of Dhaka were present during the welfare activities.
