DHAKA – Bangladesh Ansar will take on Naogaon District Sports Association(DSA) in the final match of EXIM Bank 31st National Women’s Handball competition scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Stadium in Narail.
The match kicks off at 3.30 pm following the place-deciding match between Bangladesh Police Handball Club and Jamalpur DSA that begins at 10.30 am at the same venue.
On way to the final today, Bangladesh Ansar beat Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 31-27 goals after leading the first half by 16-13 goals in the first semifinal while Naogaon DSA defeated Jamalpur DSA by 24-21 goals after the
winners trailed by 11-12 goals in the first half of the second semis.
In cooperation of BHF, a total of twelve district and services teams are taking part in the competition, which is being held marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The participating twelve teams are – Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Jamalpur, Naogaon, Panchagarh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangamati, Dinajpur, Gopalganj, Dhaka and host Narail
