Nine arrested on charge of leaking questions


The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested nine members of two syndicates of leaking questions in separate incident from Jessore and Dhaka city on Sunday.
Sources at the DB headquarters here said six members of a syndicate– Sumon Ahmed, Abdur Rahman, Abdur Rahman alias Liton, SM Tanvir Alam alias Rijvi, Jonny Rahman and Arrafat Hossain were arrested by DB police of DMP from various areas of Jessore district on Sunday.
All of the arrested people are students of Jessore Polytechnic Institute and another private polythecnic Instutute of the district.During preliminary interrogation, the arrested syndicate members, who have been involved in leaking questions of POlytechnic Institutes through facebook, revealed that they used to collect questions before every examinations of Polythecnic Instutues and then circulated those through inbox of facebook and blue tooth technology among thier freinds.
Based on secret information, a special DB team from DMP conducted the drives and arrested them.
In another incident, a DB special team conducted drives in Demra area and arrested–Nazmul, Hasan and Kamrul on Sunday night. All of them are teachers of Gulam Mostafa Model College of Demra in the capital.
Earlier, the DB police arrested six members of the organise gang, who were involved in leaking SSC examination question, Of them, arrested Raihan Chowdhury gave confessional statement before a magistrate court. Based on his statement, the detectives arrested the three teacher from Demra area. – News Desk
