PM Hasina off to Japan to attend G7 Outreach program

Dhaka – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka on Thursday morning for Nagoya of Japan on a four-day official visit to attend the G7 Outreach programme, Unb news agency reported.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:15 am.Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, Chief Whip ASM Firoz, State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy, Cabinet Secretary and Chiefs of the three services saw the Prime Minister off at the airport.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Rabab Fatima and Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Miki Yamada will receive the Prime Minister at the airport.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, currently chair of the G-7, formally invited Sheikh Hasina on April 8 to attend the outreach meeting of G-7.
On Friday, Sheikh Hasina will attend the G7 Outreach Programme at Shima Kanko Hotel and make her speech.
She will make another speech at a working lunch with the G7 outreach leaders.
The Bangladesh Prime Minister will have a meeting with her British counterpart David Cameron on the same day.
On Saturday, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with Sri Lankan President Mirthipala Srisena and Japanese counterpart Shinjo Abe.
On Sunday, she will have a breakfast meeting with leading Japanese businessmen and witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro).
In the afternoon, Hasina will attend a reception to be hosted by the Bangladeshi community.
