State Minister for Post and Telecommunication Tarana Halim on Monday asked all the mobile phone operators to resolve the call-drop problem by December next.
She came up with the directive at a meeting with the CEOs of the mobile phone operators at the Secretariat.
While talking to reporters after the meeting, Tarana said they mainly discussed at the meeting the issue of call drop and various problems being faced by subscribers.
She said an elaborate discussion was held on the call drop problem at the meeting.
The junior minister urged the mobile phone companies to look into the complaints of subscribers seriously and resolve those with importance.
She also asked them to resolve the problems related to internet package bills and 3G facilities immediately.
