Bangladesh national cricket team , lead by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, left here for India this morning to take part in qualifying round match against the Netherlands scheduled to be held on Wednesday (March 9) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, India.The Bangladesh team reached at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 8.15 am and after completing all the formalities, they set for Delhi by a Jet airways.
After reaching in Delhi the Tigers then go to Dharamsala where they play three qualifying round matches ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh will play their remaining group matches against Irelands on March 11 and Oman on March 13. This final round of the tournament will begin on March 15 with the participation of ten teams.This time eight teams will directly participate in the final round of ICC T20 World Cup. Only two teams will have the opportunity to qualify for the super ten stage.Earlier on Sunday, Bangladesh hope of lifting the Asia Cup title vanished into blue as they suffered eight-wicket defeat to mighty India in the final.
