Young people are here getting comprehensive time befitting IT training for their empowerment.
Basic IT Training program of Learning and Earning development under ICT division was inaugurated at Rajshahi College auditorium yesterday.
Among the 900 online registered applicants, 100 scrutinized learners are taking part in graphics designing, web-designing and digital marketing training in four batches in first phase.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ICT and Development) attended the opening session as chief guest with Vice-principal of the college Prof Al Faruque Chowdhury in the chair.
Program Manager of E-generation Limited Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Manager Nice Al Amin and ICT learner Asma Tasnia and parents’ representative Hamidul Islam also spoke.
They said that the youth forces should come forward towards attaining IT knowledge under the ‘Learning and Earning Training Programme’ for becoming economically self-reliant.
The present government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is extending all-out supports to impart IT literacy to students under the project.
They added that the government is implementing the programme across the country to create opportunities for earning foreign currency through online outsourcing. “Freelancing is an extremely prospective sector worldwide and now it is getting popularity in our country,” they said.
A hi-tech park is going to be established in the city with a view to establishing a world class business environment for high growth industrial sector and new business, reports BSS, Rajshahi.
