অবশেষে বিচারপতিদের অপসারণের ক্ষমতা ফিরল সুপ্রীম জুডিশিয়াল কাউন্সিলে।

রোববার (২০ অক্টোবর) সকালে প্রধান বিচারপতি ড. সৈয়দ রেফাত আহমেদের নেতৃত্বে ৬ বিচারপতির আপিল বেঞ্চ এ আদেশ দেন।
