Two soldiers killed, officer hurt in Ctg tank firing accident

Two soldiers of the Bangladesh Army were killed and an officer was seriously injured in an accident during a field firing exercise at Hathazari Field Firing Range in Chattogram district on Wednesday.
The accident occurred while a tank was firing during the exercise, according to a media release of ISPR.
The identities of the deceased and injured officer have not been disclosed yet, reports UNB.
The injured officer is being airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for better treatment.
Investigation is underway to know the cause of the accident, it said.
