2 Rohingas killed in Cox’s Bazar road crash

Two Rohingya people were killed in a collision between a covered van and a human hauler on Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf highway in Cox’s Bazar Monday.



Two Rohingya people were killed in a collision between a covered van and a human hauler on Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf highway in Cox’s Bazar Monday morning, said police.
The deceased were identified as Amir Hamza, 50, and Ismat Ara Begum, 10, of Unchiprang Rohingya camp-22.
The human hauler collided with the covered van near Huaikyong Techhi bridge area around 8 am, leaving two passengers of the human hauler dead on the spot and two others injured, said police inspector Md Jahangir Alam, in-charge of Huaikyong Highway police outpost.
The injured were sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, he added.
The bodies were kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
