Two people were killed in separate road accidents at Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district.



Two people were killed in separate road accidents at Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district.
The deceased were identified as Khokon Miah, 50, a resident of Dewalertek village in Kaliganj Municipality, and Joy Rozario, 39, of Joyrampurber area in the upazila.
Police said a bus ran over Khokon while he was crossing on the Kaliganj-Ghorashal road  Thursday morning, leaving him dead on the spot. He left home for going to Dhaka.
 Meanwhile, Joy dead on the spot after a covered van rammed into his motorcycle on the same road on Wednesday night.
Kaliganj Police Station officer in-charge Md Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter.
