Madrasa student crushed under train in Ctg

 An eight-year-old Madrasa student was crushed under the wheels of a train on Chattogram-Nazirhat railway line in Alipur area of Hathazari upazila this noon.

Md Shahadat Hossain, son of Md Jashim, hailed from Sunamganj upazila of Sylhet district, he is a class two student of Talimul Qur'an Noorani Madrasah in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, Shahadat was returning home from Madrasa after crossing the railway line in Alipur area on Tuesday noon. He died on the spot when he was hit by an oil-carrying train.

Station Master Zainal Abedin of Hathajari Railway Station told BSS that a child died after being hit by an oil carrying train this noon.

Ruhul Amin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hathajari Model thana told BSS that the body was recovered from the spot and sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), reports BSS.
