Decomposed body recovered from Kuakata beach
Police and local people having a look at a decomposed body found in Kuakata Beach on Monday.
Patuakhali: Police recovered a decomposed body from Kuakata beach. The body was recovered on Monday (August 29) at one o'clock in the afternoon from in front of Sauz Dak Bungalow on the west side of Zero Point on the beach.
The identity and age of the body could not be ascertained as it was completely melted. It is a man's body.
According to police and local sources, the body floated to the beach from the deep sea. After the locals informed the police, the police reached the spot and recovered the body.
According to the local people, it could be the body of a fisherman lost in the sea after the storm.
Mohipur police station OC Abul Khair said, we got the information and recovered the body. However, due to melting, nothing can be said for now.
The body has been sent to Patuakhali morgue for post-mortem. A UD case has been filed in the Mohipur police station in this incident. - Gofran Biswas
