Man, nephew die of electrocution in Jamalpur

 A man and his nephew died after getting electrocuted at a house in Kasaipotti of Bakshiganj municipality area of Jamalpur district on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Sayed Ali, 55, son of Taleb Uddin and Sultan, 45, son of Kubbat Ali of the area.

Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station, said Sultan came in contact with a live electric wire while repairing water pump around 3 pm.

At one stage, Sayed also got electrocuted while trying to save his nephew.

Later, they were taken to Bakshiganj Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared them dead, reports UNB.
