2 brothers killed in Savar road crash

Two siblings were killed when a truck ran over them after they fell from a motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Wednesday.



Savar, Sept 1 :  Two siblings were killed when a truck ran over them after they fell from a motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Bathuli Bus Stand in Dhamrai upazila of Savar on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Nasir Uddin, 45 and his younger brother Waji Ullah, 26 of Shoilakupa upazila in Jhenaidah district.

Manirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Golra Highway Police said the motorbike carrying them skidded off the road around 7:45 am and the two riders fell on the road.

Later, a Dhaka-bound truck ran over them, leaving them dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, reports UNB.
