The death toll from the boat capsize in Panchagarh’s Korotoa River reached 68 till Tuesday night.



The death toll from the boat capsize in Panchagarh’s Korotoa River reached 68 till Tuesday night.
Team leader of Dinajpur Fire Service and Civil Defense Assaduzzaman said they have continued the rescue operation for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday.
Four people have still remained missing, sources said.
The boat carrying 60-70 passengers, including women and children, sank in the middle of the river while heading towards Badheshwar Temple on the occasion of Mayalaya on Sunday (September 25) noon.
