Fisherman missing as boat capsizes in Meghna

A fisherman went missing after a fishing boat sank in the Meghna River in Bhola Sadar upazila early Saturday .



A fisherman went missing after a fishing boat sank after being hit by a passenger launch in the Meghna River in Bhola Sadar upazila early Saturday (October 1).
Another fisherman was injured in connection with the boat capsize and admitted to a hospital.
The missing fisherman was Kamal Jomaddar, 40, son of Shajahan Majhi and the injured was Yousuf Rati.
The boat capsize incident took place in the Meghna River near Ilisha union in the Sadar upazila, said Md Azam, in-charge of Ilisha Police Investigation Center.
