A bank official was killed when a truck smashed his motorcycle on the Cumilla-Sylhet Highway in Brahmanbaria on Saturday.



A bank official was killed when a truck smashed his motorcycle on the Cumilla-Sylhet Highway in Brahmanbaria  on Saturday.
Deceased Imtiaz Apon, 37, was a senior officer of Sonali Bank in TA road branch of the district. He hailed from Kasba upazila.
The victim's father Nizam Uddin said Apon fell down from his motorbike and was critically injured after being hit by a pickup van from behind around 9am.
He was taken to General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later.
Bishwa Road Khatihati Highway Police Station OC Sukhendra Basu said legal acton will be taken after getting written complaint.
