The bodies of the rest three missing labourers in a dredger capsize incident at Sandwip Channel of Mirsarai coast in Chittagong, have been recovered.
The half-decomposed bodies of the three labourers were recovered from the Bay at 10:30am on Thursday, Mirsarai upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Minhazur Rahman confirmed.
They were Shahin Mollah, Tarek Mollah and Boshor Hawlader.
With them, the bodies of all the missing eight labourers were recovered.
The authorities ended the search operation at 10:30am today. The bodies were, later, handed over to the UNO.
Earlier on Tuesday night, the body of Md Al Amin was first recovered, then on Wednesday morning the bodies of Imam Hossain Mollah, Mahmud Mollah and Md Jahid Bari were recovered. Of the deceased, Shahin Mollah and Imam Hossain Mollah were brothers.
The rescue team recovered the body of Alam Sarder on Wednesday night.
Eight labourers went missing at night on October 24 when dredger 'Saikat-2' capsized at Sandwip channel of Mirsarai coast due to gusty wind and strong current under the influence of cyclone Sitrang.
