Several people were injured as two trains collided head-on in Chilahati of Nilphamari on Wednesday .



Several people were injured as two trains collided head-on in Chilahati of Nilphamari on Wednesday morning.
According to sources, Mitali Express Train collided head-on with Rupsa Express near Chilahati station around 8.30am.
After the accident, the train service on Chilahati-Dhaka route has remained suspended.
Chilahati Fire Service in-Charge Ataur Rahman said most of the passengers have sustained moderate to minor injuries and they have been taken to a hospital.
