Couple killed in gas cylinder explosion in Dhaka

A man and his wife have been killed in a gas cylinder explosion.



A man and his wife have been killed in a gas cylinder explosion.
The incident took place at their house in the capital’s Bhatara area on Thursday morning.
The deceased are Abdul Majid Shikder, 72, and his wife Taslima Akhter, 45.
According to Bhatara Thana Police, a cylinder exploded around 5am and the fire spread soon. The couple burnt to death.
The dead bodies have been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
