SSC candidate dies falling down from motorcycle in Feni
A teenage boy was killed and his friend injured after falling down from a motorcycle at Chhagalnaiya upazila in Feni on Saturday night.
A teenage boy was killed and his friend injured after falling down from a motorcycle at Chhagalnaiya upazila in Feni on Saturday night.
The accident happened on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at night.
Deceased Nahidul Islam, 16, was son of Shaymaur Rashid, a resident of Motbi village. He was an SSC candidate from Laskar Hat S C Laha Institution.
Nahidul and his friend faced the fatal accident when the duo were returning home at night.
Locals rescued them and took to Feni General Hospital. They were, later, shifted to Chattogram Medical college Hospital where Nahidul succumbed to his injuries.
The body was sent to the hospital morgue.
Legal steps are under process, said Muhuriganj highway police SI Rashed Khan Chowdhury.
