A fire has broken out at Nannu Spinning Mills and a chemical factory at Rupganj in Narayanganj.



A fire has broken out at Nannu Spinning Mills and a chemical factory at Rupganj in Narayanganj. A total of 14 units of firefighters working to douse the blaze in the both factories.
Fakhruddin, assistant deputy director of Narayanganj Fire Service, confirmed the matter on Tuesday (February 28) noon.
According to locals and fire service sources, the fire broke out at Nannu Spinning Mills around 1:00 pm on Tuesday. Being informed, nine units of firefighters rushed to the spot and started working to douse the blaze.
Meanwhile, fire broke out at SP Chemical factory at Duptara area of the upazila. On information, five units of firefighters rushed to the spot.
No casualties have been reported in the incident till the report was filed.
