The death toll from the Sylhet road crash has reached 14.



The death toll from the Sylhet road crash has reached 14.
A truck and a pickup van collided around 5.50am on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Kutubpur area under Dakshin Surma Thana of Sylhet.
A total of 11 people died on the spot and another three died at the hospital.
Some of the deceased are Harish Mia (50), Sourav, (25), Sadhu Mia (40), Taif Noor (45), Sagar (18), Rashid Mia (40), Dulal Mia (55), Badsha Mia (45) and Wahid Ali (40).
According to sources, all the deceased were construction workers.
Dakshin Surma Thana Officer-in-Charge Shamsuddoha confirmed news.
About 10 injured people have been admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College for treatment.
