Man killed in city road crash

Dhaka, June 13:  A man was killed when a pick-up hit a private car in the city’s Banani area early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Jalil, 40, the driver of the  pick-up van.
Bachhu Mia, inspector of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the accident occurred around 2 am in front of Naval headquarters when the pick-up carrying 10-12 workers crashed into the private car, leaving the driver dead on the spot.
The pick-up was heading towards Airport from Mohakhali area, reports UNB.
