A woman died as her scarf got entangled with the wheel of a van in Tungipara here Sunday.



A woman died as her scarf got entangled with the wheel of a van in Tungipara here Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Fatema Begum, 50, hailed from Bagerhat district.

Inspector Jahirul Alam of Tungipara Thana said the accident occurred in Tungipara municipality area at around 11 am when she was heading towards her parental house located at Kotalipra riding on the van. She was taken to Tungipara Upazila Health Complex where the on duty doctor declared her dead.

Her body was handed over to her family members.
