Truck hits another truck, four killed in Bogura
Four people were killed as a truck hit another truck standing on the road in Murail bus stand area in Adamdighi upazila of Bogura early Saturday.
Four people were killed as a truck hit another truck standing on the road in Murail bus stand area in Adamdighi upazila of Bogura early Saturday.
The deceased were truck driver Dadon Miah, 40, at Kamrangirchar in Dhaka, his assistant Saiful Islam, 23, Rakibul Islam, 40, at Sapahar in Naogaon, and truck owner Mostak Ali, 45, in Naogaon.
Sub Inspector of Adamdighi Thana Alamgir Hossain confirmed the news.
According to sources, the accident happened around 3:30am when the driver and owner were repairing their truck. A Naogaon-bound goods-laden truck hit the standing one from behind, leaving the duo dead on the spot and two others critically injured.They were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College where the injured died.
